Travis Sisco, DDS
Dr. Travis Sisco graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. After graduation, he worked as an Engineer at Denso Manufacturing in Maryville before joining B&W Y-12 in Oak Ridge in 2006. After three years at B&W, Dr. Sisco decided to pursue his true passion and applied to dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. In May 2012, he graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee. Following graduation, Dr. Sisco worked at Allred Dental Clinic in Jamestown, Tennessee. In December 2012, Dr. Sisco went into private practice and opened Sisco Family Dentistry in Kingston. Dr. Sisco is a member of Tennessee Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Roane County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Sisco and his wife, Kayla, live in Kingston with their son, Asher and daughter, Maeve.
Office Manager/ Dental Assistant
Jessica Halcomb is an East Tennessee Native. She has lived in Roane County all of her life. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant since April of 2011 and has her Dental Radiology and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring licenses. She is also certified in CPR. Her love of dentistry was inspired by her mother and grandmother who are also Registered Dental Assistants. Jessica is married to her high school sweetheart Andrew Halcomb. They have one son, Camden and one daughter, Harper. In their free time they enjoy spending time at their small farm and being on the lake with family and friends.
Shannon Hays was blessed to relocate to East Tennessee in 1995. She received her Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and her Registered Dental Hygiene License in 1990 from Lake Land College in Illinois. Shannon has over 29 years experience as a dental hygienist ranging from general practices to cosmetic specialists and periodontics. Her goal is building relationships with her patients while giving them the optimal dental treatment. Shannon has been married to her high school sweetheart, John, for over 27 years. They have one daughter, Savannah, and son-in-law, Dylan. John and Shannon enjoy all UT sports and traveling.
Kimberlyn Hendrix traveled quite a bit as a child, but grew up in East Tennessee. She studied psychology at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville and dental assisting at Dental Staff School-Knoxville. She has been a registered dental assistant since August of 2019 and has her dental radiology and coronal polishing licenses. Kimberlyn married her high school sweetheart, Collin in 2021 and they have one dog together named Bear. In her free time, she loves watching Vols football, spending time on the lake, and playing with her chocolate lab, Bear.
Hannah Childs grew up in Roane County (SOR). She graduated Dental Staff School of Knoxville as a Registered Dental Assistant in November 2017. She has certifications in Dental Radiology and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring. She is also CPR certified. Hannah lives in Kingston with her husband, Aaron. They’ve been married since 2017 and have two Boxer dogs that are like their children. Hannah likes to play disc golf, go hiking with her dogs, spend time with friends/family, and learn new hobbies whenever her time is available. Hannah’s favorite part of being in dentistry is getting to watch people gain their confidence back when they smile.
Rachel East has lived in East Tennessee her whole life and loves everything about it (Go Big Orange!). She previously got her Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked in the hospital setting for 3 years. She then pursued her true passion for dental hygiene and received her Associates in Applied Science from Roane State for Dental Hygiene. She is licensed in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring and administration. Rachel is compassionate about her profession and loves to be the ray of sunshine for all her patients and co workers. She has been with her high school love, Nick, for over a decade, and got married in 2015. They have one daughter, Audrey, who is the absolute light of their life. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their dog and four cats. She gives all the glory to God for placing her where she was truly meant to be in life.
Michelle Weingarten was born and raised in Kingston, TN and has worked in dentistry since 2013. Before graduating from Roane State as a hygienist, she was a registered dental assistant. Michelle enjoys being surrounded and spending quality time with those she loves. She is married to her high school sweetheart Grant. They have 3 children, Hartlie, Nevaeh, and Julius. Michelle’s favorite part of working in dentistry is being able to create a friendship with her patients and educating them on how to maintain excellent oral health.
